A Structural Fabricator plays a vital role in the construction and industrial sectors by preparing, cutting, shaping, and assembling steel or metal structures. This position ensures that structural frameworks are built according to engineering drawings and safety standards, contributing directly to the strength, stability, and durability of major projects. Fabricators are essential in supporting infrastructure development, oil & gas, and heavy industrial projects across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Structural Fabricators are responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately measure, cut, and assemble steel components. They operate welding and fabrication equipment to produce precise parts that meet project requirements. Additional duties include inspecting finished work for quality compliance, ensuring safety standards are followed during fabrication, collaborating with welders and engineers, and maintaining tools and equipment in excellent working condition.

Skills and Knowledge

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong technical skills in fabrication, including cutting, grinding, and assembling structural steel. Knowledge of welding processes, especially FCAW, is highly desirable. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in structural fabrication is required, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Candidates should also demonstrate teamwork, attention to detail, physical fitness, and strict adherence to safety standards.
