The role of a Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is critical in ensuring workplace safety and compliance during industrial operations. A WPR is responsible for coordinating and securing necessary permits before work begins, particularly in construction, oil & gas, and industrial sites. This position ensures that safety procedures are followed, proper documentation is in place, and all risks are identified and minimized.

Key Responsibilities

A Work Permit Receiver will handle the preparation, submission, and receipt of permits for various types of industrial work. This includes coordinating with site management, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, and monitoring the execution of activities under the approved permits. The WPR must also verify that all work conditions are safe, provide guidance on permit requirements, and ensure proper communication between supervisors, safety officers, and workers.

Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of workplace safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and industrial site procedures. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects will be an advantage. Candidates must possess valid documentation including Chamber Registration, Iqama (minimum 90 days validity), CV, and Original Passport.
