Key Responsibilities
The primary duty of a Scaffolder is to safely erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures at construction sites. They must follow safety standards and engineering specifications to ensure stability and durability. Scaffolders are also responsible for inspecting scaffolding materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, they must work closely with engineers, foremen, and other site workers to ensure scaffolding is available on time and meets the project’s needs.
Skills and Knowledge
A successful Scaffolder must have hands-on experience in scaffolding erection and dismantling, along with knowledge of construction safety standards. Candidates must hold an Original TUV certification to prove technical competency. Good physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights are essential. Previous experience in construction projects within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region will be an added advantage. Effective teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are also vital to perform the job efficiently.
